HSE Faculty of Physics Looking for Young Laboratory Heads in Breakthrough Fields
HSE University is pleased to announce an international competition for experimental research laboratories in such breakthrough fields of contemporary physics as Quantum Technologies and Novel Functional Materials. The winners will have a chance to head and develop new research laboratories based out of the HSE Faculty of Physics.
HSE's Advent Calendar
An advent calendar with gifts is usually seen as a source of entertainment for children, but away with conventions. Everyone loves to receive presents, but HSE loves to give them. Each day between December 1st and 24th, the windows of a virtual calendar will display links to some of HSE’s most interesting courses, lectures, and events set to take place soon, as well as recordings from past events. The result will be 24 presents for absolutely everyone to enjoy.
Garage Museum of Contemporary Art Partners with HSE School of Design and UNIQLO to Host Recycle Day
On November 18, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art will host Recycle Day for the first time ever. Organised in cooperation with Japanese clothing brand UNIQLO and the HSE School of Design, this event is devoted to sustainable development and textile recycling.
Fashion Futures Project at HSE Art and Design School
From October 29 to November 6, the HSE Art and Design School is hosting Fashion Futures – a series of open meetings, lectures and workshops with international fashion designers. For the second year in a row, globally renowned speakers are coming to the School to share their experience and discuss some real cases, as well as communicating their ideas on the fashion industry and education. We welcome not only fashion students of the Art and Design School, but anyone interested in fashion and willing to learn from some of the leading lights in the fashion industry. Admission to the events is free, and advance registration is required. Most talks will be in English
Shukhov Lab Holds Poster Contest for Master's Programme 'Prototyping Future Cities'
The International Laboratory for Experimental Urban Design Shukhov Lab is launching a poster contest for the Master's programme 'Prototyping Future Cities'. If you have a desire to test your creativity, then submit your proposal. The winner will collaborate with Shukhov Lab for the further development of the Master's programme identity under a services contract.

'Russian School Abroad': Series of Events for Teachers of Russian Schools in USA
From October 9 to October 16, 2018, HSE University together with Rossotrudnichestvo will hold a series of events for teachers of Russian schools in the United States. The events will be held in Washington (DC), Portland (Oregon), and Sacramento (California).
HSE Accepting Works by Students from All Universities for Research Competition
The Higher School of Economics has begun accepting works for its annual Student Research Paper Competition. Applications are due October 15 and can be submitted on the competition’s website.
