The HSE Faculty of Computer Science has opened a joint department with Tinkoff. The department will bring together the HSE FCS’s extensive research and teaching potential, alongside Tinkoff’s vast practical experience in developing complex software solutions.

During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, HSE Rector Nikita Anisimov signed cooperation agreements with regional heads, university rectors, heads of companies, government agencies, public organisations, and cultural institutions. This cooperation with new partners will cover a wide range of areas—from educational and research projects to student expeditions and youth policy.

The admissions campaign for the ‘Applied Social Psychology’ English-language programme of the Faculty of Social Sciences has started. From September 2022, this master’s programme, whose structure and curriculum align with those of social psychology programmes at European universities, will be delivered online.

The meeting was held in person for the first time in over two years. It was attended by Sergey Kravtsov, Russian Minister of Education, and Dmitry Smyslov, Vice President of VK. The Council discussed HSE University’s breakthrough projects in engineering and artificial intelligence and elected new distinguished and tenured professors.

HSE University and other leading Russian universities have signed a memorandum with VK and Skillbox to develop online learning and remote-education technologies in Russia. The signing took place at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Federal Brain and Neural Technology Centre at the Federal Medical and Biological Agency is launching the Laboratory of Medical Neural Interfaces and Artificial Intelligence for Clinical Applications, which has been created by employees of HSE University. The exam has been developed by the HSE School of Foreign Languages in compliance with all relevant international standards. On May 13, the Independent English Language Examination Centre opened in the HSE University building on Staraya Basmannaya Ulitsa, and the first students took the exam on May 16. In the future, the opportunity to take an independent assessment at the Centre is expected to be available not only to HSE students, but also to students from other universities, schoolteachers, and corporate clients.

The results of the National Technology Olympiad (NTO) of the 2021/22 academic year were recently announced. The Olympiad project office operates through HSE University.
