Perm Continues to Implement Project to Create World-Class Interuniversity Campus
As part of his working trip to Perm, HSE University Rector Nikita Anisimov visited the site where the new campus is being built, and also held talks with the Governor of Perm Krai, Dmitry Makhonin. The student campus is expected to be fully operational in 2026. The campus will house learning spaces, laboratories, a sports complex with a swimming pool, a congress hall, and a hotel complex for students and teachers.
‘Russia and Vietnam Have Traditionally Good Relations’
In mid-March, 2023, an HSE University delegation led by Vice Rector Victoria Panova visited Vietnam. During the trip, bilateral meetings were held with the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training. HSE University representatives visited the country's leading universities and schools, as well as the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Centre, a research and technology organisation that facilitates international Russian–Vietnamese cooperation.
Creative City of HSE Art and Design School to Become a Meeting Point for Young Specialists and Customers
On March 27, the HSE Art and Design School organised a press breakfast. The meeting was focused on the creation of new strategies for the development of territorial branding in Moscow and other Russian cities. At the meeting, the participants discussed how to popularise creative industries today in order to create new interesting design projects in Russian regions and involve more specialists in this process, especially young and prospective ones.
HSE University to Host Total Dictation for Tenth Time
On April 8, HSE University in Moscow will welcome participants of the 2023 Total Dictation, an open annual educational event that was first held in 2004. Since then, it has become a major event for anyone interested in writing and speaking Russian properly. This year at HSE University, it will be held at 11 Pokrovsky Bulvar, the Shabolovka building and, for the first time, the HSE Cultural Centre.

Alexander has a place on the ICEF Endowment Fund Board of Trustees. The event was moderated by HSE University President Alexander Shokhin.
Winning Expeditions of the First Wave of the ‘Rediscovering Russia’ Project Selection Announced
The first selection of winning expeditions of the inter-university student programme ‘Rediscovering Russia’ has been completed. The programme is being implemented by HSE University together with the presidential platform ‘Russia - Land of Opportunity’ and the ‘More Than a Trip’ programme. The Expert Council approved 47 applications, with 17 universities and 23 organisations among the winners. The expeditions will take place from April to July 2023 and will cover 41 Russian regions.
